Love is emotion that hits everybody. it is universal experience experienced by all creatures on earth. I am sure you have loved someone or have been in love with someone.

We use word love in multiple ways ,at one moment we say we love our cats ,pets and at other moment we say we love our parents and and next moment we say we love our wife etc.

Love is an emotional need for all human beings.It needs to be filled like physical needs such as water, food, shelter etc. Without love we are vulnerable to stress , anxiety and depression etc.

Love is not a just emotion it's a force that propel us toward action. It's love that forces engineers ,doctors to work and create vaccines ,buildings and make our planet a beautiful place.

Without love there would be no discovery ,invention and earth would be barren and like graveyard and I am sure you including me would not have born .

Whenever we hear the word love, we equate it with physical romance ,family ,friends but love is beyond then those things.

The topics that why we love? Why male and female vary in the romantic love. Why some people love animals more than others has been topic of interest for me. I tried to know the answer of these seemingly unanswerable question by reading books , listening audio and podcast.

Poets ,philosophers and scientists worked over love for thousand of years. Poets romanticise love and expressed love inform of verses and prose with women. Religion people considered it divine and unexplainable force.

Whenever we are in love with someone we see other person through red rose glasses . The defects, demerits and down sides of that person get blinded and that person looks flawless. It is due to turning off logical thinking and turning on of emotional thinking.

The first logical approach to love was given by Hippocrates. He was Western world physician and he stated that love is a brain phenomena. Now thanks to imaging techniques .It has been confirmed that emotion of love results as combination of different positive hormone in our body such as Dopamine, serotonin , norepinephrine etc.

Dopamine is hormone of pleasure and craving when you are in love with person it gives you the feeling of happiness and you crave that person more while serotonin is hormone of relaxation and satisfaction. It gave you soothing and calming effect s on your body.

No matter what the poets, scientist and philosophers say about love . love is love it has no boundaries and types such as Eastern or a western, spiritual or mundane. It's a positive force located in bodies of every person and without love there would be nothing on earth.
